Volunteer Opportunities in the Community

Housing Families Inc.

Housing Families is a non-profit organization in Malden that shelters families with children. Their goal is to help families in crisis not only with shelter, but with the support services they need, and to help families maintain permanent housing.

One way we can help is to provide meals that they will serve during the workshops and support groups that they run. They are looking for people who can deliver a fully prepared meal that would feed 15-20 people. (Nut free)

  • This can be a one-time donation, or a regular service you provide.
  • It can be dropped off at one of their Malden or Revere locations at anytime (They have the ability to freeze meals).
  • They are also looking for healthy snacks for their afterschool program.
Contact Joan Sinner at 781-322-9119 ext 119, or email her at jsinner@housingfamilies.org
