Talk together
Ask your kids if they remember any of the stories from the puppets’ summary. Did they have a favorite Bible character from the ones that were mentioned? Let them explain why. Share your favorites with your kids.
Pray together
God showed so much patience with His people, didn’t He? God’s love never gave up on them and nothing could stop His rescue plan. Eventually Jesus came to die on the cross and rise from the dead to save us from sin!
Take turns thanking God for His patience, His forgiveness, and His love. Then conclude your time of prayer by saying the Lord’s Prayer together.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory now and forever. Amen.
