Jesus’ first last words on the cross were, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they’re doing.” From this moment in Jesus life, we learn that God has a plan, our most powerful tool is prayer, and our greatest need is forgiveness. We also learn what to do in our own moments of pain and humiliation.
