Anders started attending Freedom Hill in 1995 when he and his wife Christina moved to Massachusetts to attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He began serving as an intern, then Associate Pastor, and, as of 2012, has been the Lead Pastor. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Aaron Copeland School of Music in New York City and his M.Div from Gordon-Conwell in 1999. He was ordained through the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 2010.
