Here are ideas to help you talk, learn, pray and worship together. There are even parts to use during the week.
1. Talk about the lesson
Review the lesson with your child using the following questions:
- What is the first sail we learned about today that keeps us on course with God?
- How does praying keep our friendship with God strong?
- What is a “Quiet Time?”

Each day this week, watch one of the Build-A-Prayer workshops. (There are 6 video lessons, and each one is 15 – 20 minutes long.) You can access them on the church’s children’s ministries page or click on one of the following each day this week:

2. Pray together
Pray together, asking God to help your family hoist the sail of prayer and to help you use this week to put your family on course with Him!
Close by saying this blessing over your family:
[Children’s names], God loves you and wants you to talk with Him everyday. He will never be too busy, He will always hear you. May you experience His love and presence as you walk with Him and talk with Him this week.
